The Bedfont Lakes annual Country Fair was held on July 23rd and attracted a large crowd enjoying the good weather.

The Fair was dominated by a large commercial funfair, with traditional country fair craft stalls and rural crafts displays playing a supporting role. Visitors were able to see craftsmen demonstrating wood turning, basket weaving, chainsaw carving and canal ware painting. Stall holders were selling a variety of country goods including walking sticks, honey and jam, and carved wooden animals. The displays in the central arena provided an opportunity to see heavy horses in action and dog display teams.

These are some pictures from around the Country Fair 2006
